I'm going to try and just do some original art here and there, hopefully one a week! I'm going to be listing them on my etsy for sale! This one is on there currently, it's a small ish piece 5x7 experimenting with different ways to use watercolor.

Power in Numbers

Gallery Nucleus has an online program where artists are constantly updating small pieces for charity. I participated, and have submitted this piece called "Princessa Piea" She's a spoiled little girl. I'm going to try and do a childrens book with her!

It's a really great program for artists and art buyers alike! The prices are always fairly reasonable for original art! This piece will be sold for only 100 dollars!

Japan

A Piece I did for Japan :) I had a pretty great time painting it, I need to get more watercolor practice.

FRINGE

I love Sci Fi! Ever since LOST ended, Fringe has been my weekly event. Sometimes I sketch during the show and did some caricatures of the characters. I might do another one with Fauxlivia, Walternate and Lincoln Lee.

I've been having a lot of fun doing the text for these pieces too. Illustrative text is one of my favorite things nowadays! One of my biggest regrets is not playing as much in my classes and learning how to do things other than illustration...

I got this idea to start doing doodles of my outfits from a few diffrent people, I saw Nancy Z's blog, which is awesome, but I sadly don't have the time or energy to photograph myself, but everyone should check out her work!

I also saw recently this awesome chick Tiffany Ford's been doing it too! It's so fun to see into people's normal lives outside their art!

Some Disney Commissions

For Christine, she wanted her kids playing with Rapunzel and Jack Sparrow! I had a good time doing these...I started using watercolor to line the pieces instead of the colored pencil. I think I'm starting to get a technique that works well!

Pamplemousse Fabrics for Crafts!

So I'm a pretty crafty person and recently I heard about this awesome website called Spoonflower where you can print all of your own fabric! I thought it could be fun to print some fabric and sell it as limited editions for quilits...or pencil cases or anything else people can come up with!

I just love craft supplies!

A little commission I did recently~ I was very inspired by the watercolors in Miyazaki's books and wanted to get that loose, vibrant feeling I get from them in this piece. This girl made me think of a wild and tough princess like Princess Monoke.

I had some trouble with the water, but I learned I need to practice things like that :P

Santa Santa

Last life drawing workshop of the year with Bob! I pulled out some acrylics for the occasion. Most of these were done in 10 minutes, I only did every other pose.

This second painting I just did to try and use up the paint left on the palette.
